Invisalign is one of the most popular orthodontic systems today. If you are like most people, you don’t want to have traditional metallic braces and wires that are cemented on to your teeth. Invisalign is a system where clear, removable trays made with clear PBA-free plastic are inserted into your mouth that apply gentle pressure to your teeth to help get them in their best shape possible. Invisalign trays are removed while eating, brushing and flossing, therefore are really easy to take care of. You do have to wear these trays at least 22 hours a day and it can take 12-24 months for the treatment to be completed on time. There are also fewer restrictions than with traditional braces as there are no wires or brackets that can get caught in food and come off.
